New Account!

new-account

Today, we started the training for the new account. It’s still the same company I indirectly started working for. I’m pretty sure some people have heard about it, but I won’t mention it on my blog. I don’t really want to get in trouble. I’ll throw in some hints though.

show

Anyways, like I said, the training started today. We will be undergoing a two-phase training. The first phase is only for 4 days and after that, we’ll be taking in calls already.

It’s not the usual technical support thing. We’ll also be handling some billing and sales as well. The processes are so tedious as well. Not to mention the crappy CRM software. It’ll just take some getting used to… again.

At least I got my promotion before this started. There’s also this big possibility to have a normal life with this account–i.e. a day job. Career opportunities will also be rampant. This account is aiming for a rapid expansion and they are going to prioritize the ones who have been in the previous account under the same company. So, yes, I’d be included. Since the account will also be in the soon-to-be-completed center nearer my place (from usually 1.5 hr travel to 15 minute travel), it will be a good deal.

It seems like working in a call center is one of the most popular jobs in the country right now. It’s a shame, and it’s really sad, but with better opportunities and a higher salary, it would really be a choice for some people.

Had I happened to stay as a teacher (assuming I really, definitely, absolutely, wanted to be one), I wonder when I will be regularized? I wonder when will I be promoted? I’ll have to earn a post-graduate degree to even step up. *sigh* Life.

Promotion!

promotion

I got promoted! It’s not really much. It’s not like a full leap to another position. I just went up another level as a Tier 1 agent. There are 4 levels. I’ve just passed through the first two levels and now I’m on the third level. If only I didn’t mess up two months ago, I would’ve been on the 4th level now and skipped the third.

Oh well papel.

I’m still glad for it. Of course, I get a raise on my salary.

I really thought at first that I won’t even be granted of it because I messed up at the start of this month and had to be served a paper. But my boss said this month isn’t included in the decision if I would get the said raise or not. But I did get it. And I’m happy.

And here I am, sitting here, sweating my behind off, wanting to blog about it. It’s been raining the past couple of nights and it’s a little humid in my room. Probably, not even Santa Fe dehumidifiers will get my room to be somewhat cooler, but I couldn’t care less right now. I’m happy.

T___T my tax deductions will go up as well… *sigh*

BUT STILL! RIGHT?

Ash Trays

ash-trays

My Pop’s mother is home for my Aunt Grace’s wedding on the 20th. And if there’s one thing I’m happy about her being here, it’s the miraculous disappearance of ash trays/cans/containers from the dining table. At home, the only people who don’t smoke are me and James’ girlfriend Deb. Mama has the decency not to smoke on the table though.

It’s really annoying sometimes because they leave the ash trays on the table. I kind of lose my appetite because I feel like ash went to my food. But I’m not really OC enough to care too much. But sometimes, I really wish they’d stop smoking inside the house. I don’t care if they use Votive candle holders as ash trays like what Yu does. It’s like … I wish they’d respect the food or something.

But since Mommy is here in the house, they don’t smoke on the table anymore which is good. So, as much as I don’t really like her, something good has come from her being here. I kind of wouldn’t really mind if she stayed here longer since we’re actually having vegetables regularly on the table. Mama would mind though because she doesn’t really like cooking everyday.

Oh well swell.

Sink Doggie

sink-doggie

Lately, I’ve been bringing Taba to the bathroom with me whenever I go take a bath. I know, I’m evil, since Taba doesn’t really like taking a bath, but somehow I feel lonely and evil at the same time so I bring with me. And since he doesn’t want to get wet, I put him on the sink. I know, I’m really evil… the sink is small and he doesn’t really like it. But after a week of us doing that, he’s kinda used to it now.

One day, when I get my own house, I’ll look into getting maybe some bar sinks. One in each kitchen. Sorry. I had to cover my underwear >_>

Yes, I want to have two kitchens. One “wet” kitchen and one “dry” kitchen. I kind of like the setup here at home wherein we have an outdoor kitchen where the usually dirtier stuff are done. The indoor kitchen is where the plates are washed and all that cleaner stuff. And the bar sink I’ll be getting won’t be the tiny ones. It would be like oversized ones for Taba.

I’m gonna get Taba his very own sink. Maybe big enough so that I could bathe him there as well. Presently, we still bathe together. Because the sink here is too small and I’m usually too lazy to give him a bath outside.

*sigh*
Dreams.

One day, I’ll make them all come true.

Grrrr Some People

grrrr-some-people

Wouldn’t it be nice to have the life of some people here at home? Doing nothing–no job, no school, and totally no use in life. They don’t clean the house, they don’t contribute anything nor help around. They are like boarders who don’t pay anything, and nothing really is expected from them. What can you expect from useless people?

Another group of people, living in this very same house, contributes to almost 50% of the total electricity bill because of their air-conditioner, electric stove, and what not, and they recently had a water line tapped and installed in their “shack” … how wonderful. And how lazy. And how annoying. They tapped it into the main line so if ever they’re using it, chances are the pressure wouldn’t be as strong and my shower wouldn’t be a shower anymore. It’d be a freaking faucet that’s just above my head.

I don’t care if they’ve got some Grohe faucets installed or some nameless hardware brand, but if I’m using the shower and they mess it up, I’m going to knock on their freakin door like crazy.

I really really don’t like them! =_=;

And of course they wouldn’t be moving out. Would you want to move out from a place wherein you don’t have to pay for any bills or rent, and only spend for your own luxuries? And just the two of them make up of the whole house’s bills. *sigh*

…. *SIGH!*

Murderous Intent

murderous-intent

A lot of people say I’m sweet and really nice… but little do people know that I have a lot of murderous and violent ideas in my mind. They are just ideas, don’t worry, but I’ve never really done anything serious. Call me cowardly, but I don’t want to be involved in anything illegal. Not that it could get nasty, but it would be very expensive. I’m not brilliant enough to make things look like an accident, even if, say, I was able to get and import an excellent Chicago accident attorney.

My friends who really know me know some of my so-called “dreams” but only a few people know about my murderous intentions, although some people in #ROFLMAO might know about it because I used to be online so much. But for other people… Let’s just say that they would have to have some timing to know it. I could get really pissed off and start randomly saying these intentions. For example, orc happens to piss me off big time, and I was chatting with someone, these intentions might be unintentionally voiced out :D

Orc still hasn’t paid his debt and he said he was going to pay last Thursday. He said he lost his wallet… but I won’t accept that excuse… I’m being lenient enough not nagging him to pay. *sigh* But!!! [Insert violent thoughts here]

*sigh* Think of penguins.

My Own Place

my-own-place

I hate traveling. I hate the fact that it sometimes takes me about an hour and a half just to go to work sometimes. I’m getting a little tired. With my schedule this month, it wasn’t helpful at all. All I really want to do when I get home is to eat and then sleep. When I wake up, it’s time to go to work again. My usual 6-8 hours of sleep never feels enough. When I arrive at work, I still feel so sleepy. Of course, I slept when the sun was up. I woke up and the sun was still up.

I would really like to get a place of my own. But when I do get one, I want it to be permanent. I don’t want to be moving around anymore like before. I hate packing, unpacking, sorting, throwing out stuff… Most of all, when I do get one, I have to be able to afford it. Not necessarily paying it all in one go, but I have to be able to pay for it properly monthly without the need of getting loans or being in debt. Even if I know I could probably get good mortgage quotes, I hate the idea of being in debt. I’m done and past being in debt. It wasn’t a feeling I liked or a situation I would want to be in again.

I’m not saving up for that yet, though. What I’m saving up for now is a trip somewhere, probably HK or Japan by next year. I’m going to (do my best to) save P5000 every payday! p(^___^)q I CAN DO THIS!

Performance Gimmicks

performance-gimmicks

At work, the newest gimmick is for every 100% customer satisfaction survey score (CSat), the agent can have a go at the pachinko board. The grand price would be this robotic arm thingie light with the company logo on it. I wanted to win it but they were only counting the CSats from August 15 until present and most of my perfect CSats were prior to August 15 >_<

I'm such a sucker for promotional items… I really really wanted the trinket because it had the company logo. A couple of days ago, I bought 2 tubes of Mentos for the cellphone dangle which I didn’t really need because my cellphone already has a really nice dangle.

I’m tempted to buy the Dove package because of the notebook which is just blank anyway. I want to get the Jollibee 30th Anniversary mug. I’m so annoyed that I wasn’t able to get any of the McDonald’s Olympic glasses thingies.

I’m the type of person who, if something comes free on something and I like that freebie, even if I have no real use for the product that has the freebie, there’s a 70% chance that I’ll be getting that product…for the freebie.

*sigh*

I’m controlling though. I’m really controlling!!! I’m controlling myself…. control… control… control….

*goes to Jollibee later*

24-Hour Convenience Stores

24-hour-convenience-stores

…are pretty convenient, right?

The common ones here are 7-11 and Mini Stop. Mini Stop is just relatively new here compared to 7-11. I can still remember when I was young… A Slurpee would be an ultra extra wonderful treat.. even for just the small one. It would be like my Sunday ice cream that I could only get once every couple of months.

Well… the 7-11 that I used to pass by everyday going to work (not the one near PBCom, but the one that used to be in Kamias Rd. Cor. EDSA) is gone. I don’t know why the closed. I know they’ve had a lot of robberies in the past… but I really never expected them to close. It didn’t seem like they weren’t getting a lot of customers either.

Yes, I’m really sad. And it is very inconvenient for me.

Their location was also very nice. If only I had a lot of money, there are a lot of products or stores that I could have franchise opportunities … but said money is non-existent for me …

I wonder if a Mini Stop will replace it? Because there’s no Mini Stop in that area. Mini Stop has better food, I think… But it doesn’t have Slurpee. T_T But it’s got Ice Cream :D

Victim of Ad Propagandas

victim-of-ad-propagandas

I will admit. Whenever there’s a new product that interests me on the shelves, my tendency is to go and get them. I’ve probably tried all kinds of local shampoos, conditioners and soaps. I’ve tried almost all facial washes (that I can afford) and lotions and hair stuff. I’ve tasted all of Century and Blue Bay and 555 Tuna flavors. I’ve tried all flavors of Lipton and C2 iced tea. I’ve tasted all the instant noodles that I could get my hands on. I’ve also probably tried all the sanitary pads and pantiliners that are usually on the shelves.

And what’s funny? For the non-edible stuff, I end up not really using them, or they just become a part of my collection. I guess I’m easily entertained and convinced by ads (but now I don’t really watch TV or read newspapers, I get blinded by packaging).

Recently, I just bought the Clean and Clear Active Clear Pimple Clearning Speed Gel. I’ve already tried all the Clean and Clear products. This one was just a little too expensive… but my officemate uses this other brand and it doesn’t seem to work. I know C&C works well on me so today I finally got one. I do have an acne treatment cream that Eelai gave me once, and wonder of wonders, I know where it is. It’s just that I’ve only used it once. And I’m not really sure if I’ll be using it again.

You’d think that with all the creams and lotions and stuff I’ve been buying for my face would ruin my skin. But no. Fact is I hardly use them. It’s wasteful on my part. That’s why recently, I’ve been sharing extras.

But I’m proud to say that I’ve really been controlling myself with those stuff. Like really really, to the point that I run out of shampoo and conditioner now (I used to have at least 2 bottles in stock). I don’t buy tuna anymore. Of course, there are still some things that I would prefer not to run out of, like noodles. For shampoo, there’s always Taba’s shampoo for backup (it’s human shampoo that I use on my dog).

Now, I have to be practical if I really want to go to Hong Kong and meet Mumu this year or Japan next year or around the world in the years to come \o/
