MMMiii!

I dote on my doggie, Taba. I buy him stuff that sometimes is really a waste of money, but I just wanted to buy them for him. He has 3 collars. Or maybe 4… or 5? I can’t really remember. Of course, these are just cheap collars. He’s not a really huge dog so they’re not too expensive. Does he wear collars? No, not really. He doesn’t like it. Sometimes I make him wear them though. Right now, he has a piece of a pant-leg on his neck. … Choker?

I buy him chew-toys. Like milk bones, or that croissant chew thingie. He really loved that croissant thingie, but when it flooded here, it was one of the few things that I forgot to save coz he had it in his apartment. It’s usually just in my room but he must have ran away with it and I forgot about it. So I bought him a milk bone. Same material as the croissant thingie, but in a shape of a bone. And he hasn’t touched it at all. It’s just gathering dust. =_=

I got him milk sticks instead. Those, he kind of likes, but they get eaten up too fast. What Taba really likes are cables. And dangling stuff. And my monkey fridge magnet. And pillowcase zippers. And my shoe laces. And my pop’s shoes and slippers. And chicken bones. And pork bones. And beef bones. And the bathroom door. And his leash. And my expensive Sennheiser CX300 earphones.

I also bought him doggie treats, but he doesn’t like it. Mama says I waste too much money on Taba. I’d rather just buy him chiffon cake or sponge cake. He likes those better. Rather than expensive doggie stuff.

My brother thinks otherwise. Orc thinks I should just buy baby gifts for his baby. But the baby isn’t even here, why should I buy him gifts? And sadly, I don’t really feel any attachment for his baby, even if he is my first first-degree nephew (or is he really? XD).

I’d rather be spending and wasting my money on people and things I love (and my dog).

orz… I can’t even sit still or sleep properly if I know he’s not in my room. =_=;;

Iks brought me a souvenir from his and Eelai’s last out of town trip. It’s just a choker with a cross pendant. It’s … cute. Although I’m not really into religious jewelry or jewelry with religious symbols…

I kind of feel like I’m desecrating it, but then a cross is just a cross, right? I also have cross-designed dangling earrings which I really like a lot, and I only got that for P50 because it had a defect which I fixed using my handy-dandy soldering gun.

I remember buying earrings for someone. The fish thingie that has a religious meaning… I like that design since it’s not blatantly like telling everyone I’m a religious person or something. It could be any fish for all anyone would care.

~_~ I don’t really wear chokers… I feel bad.

At work, there’s this like … point system. There are certain metrics that you can get certain points for, and these points you can exchange for company trinkets. So far, I’m one of the ones with the most points all over the floor.

There’s this pen that I really really want. There are two kinds of ink pens available in the trinket cabinet. One is a carabiner pen… it’s like a keychain pen thingie. The other one, the one that I’ve been drooling on for weeks already, is the one they call the Magneato pen. It’s kind of like a necklace pen and the ends at the back of the “necklace” part are magnets. Isn’t it neat? I really really want it. And I have enough points for two of those.

Lately, I’ve been hanging out in eBay. I’m getting frustrated not being able to get my money from PayPal because Xoom is being utterly stupid. Not that I’ve got a lot in my PayPal, but still… it would be nice to be actually touching them or seeing them take interest in my bank account, right?

So… I signed up for eBay! And I bought three things.

Silicone Skin Case for my Zen V Plus with lanyard and armband.

You’re probably thinking I’m crazy. The item is $1.00 but shipping is $9.49, a total of $10.49. If you convert that to peso, that’s still less than how much the silicone skin case will cost here. Including the arm band. So I’m still fine with that. It’ll just take about a month to get here plus red tape, so that’s two months… maybe.

Brand New Sennheiser CX300 Ear Canal Headphone Silver Black.

Actually, I wanted the black one, but stupid me didn’t notice that I bid on the Silver one. I emailed the person and asked him if he could send me the black one instead. I don’t know if it’s real or not, but it’s cheaper than the Phillips in-ear earphones that I’ve been eyeing for some time now. a LOT cheaper, and a LOT cheaper than it’s price in malls. I can’t spend my real money, so why not spend money that I can’t obtain? right?

Nodame Cantabile: Megumi’s Piano Pattern Tote Bag + Coin Purse

I don’t remember seeing Nodame with this coin purse, but what the heck. I’ve been wanting to buy a new bag and I don’t see anything that I like that is within my budget (my budget for a new bag is P150). Nothing I see, even in Ukay-Ukays, meet that budget and design that I want. So… I thought of getting the Nodame bag. And it’s … not very cheap, but good enough. It’s about 5 times my budget, but considering I didn’t really spend anything from my salary for these… s’all good.

Well… those are my first eBay purchases. I hope I don’t get addicted and spend too much. The things I usually see have to come from overseas, and knowing how this country’s postage system works, these things will probably arrive past my birthday. *crossing fingers*

I found this cute case for my macbook just in case I want to take it out. It’s a Zero Halliburton Degerati 5″ and it’s $445. Way out of my range. Probably not available in the country either. Ughh…

Just going to spend that money for Mama’s medicine. Mama got bitten by BokBok last night, trying to protect my precious Taba. She got 5 bites. Backside, Stomach, Left Leg, Side, and Arm. Her arm was the worse, the flesh got almost ripped off. BokBok didn’t want to let go and he was trying to mangle mama’s arm… =/ This was because she was saving Taba. Papa said later on that mama should’ve just let BokBok mangle Taba. T___T

Mama’s hospitalization was covered by her two health insurances from my brother and father, but I’m really not sure if my health insurance card could cover hers as well. I’ll need to check with the HR of my company.

Papa said we could still buy our fridge since the rest of mama’s expensive medicine doesn’t need to be all in one go, so we’re going to get the fridge tonight so we could have it by tomorrow or Sunday. At least mama could have cold water all the time as well.

I’m feeling dehydrated as well. I’m used to having easy access to water all the time, and with the current setup I don’t have cold water in my room, I don’t bother drinking at all. And sometimes, the water in the fridge outside isn’t really cold, so I don’t bother drinking either. I like my water cold. :<

*Sigh* Tonight, we’re also going to buy a muzzle for BokBok. Right now he’s tied up. And he’s been crying the whole night. Poor dog.

It’s nearing Christmastime and I’ve been deprived of toys for years! So I might get something nice. I’m going to buy toys!

People who really know me would know what I mean by toys. No, they’re not stuffed toys or some electronic gadget. I have different toys. They’re either related to blades or tools. I like Swiss Knives, Fake Swiss Knives, Xacto Blades, scalpels, cutters, cutter keychains. I also like screwdriver sets, pliers, hammers, wire cutters… These are the things I find cool.

Other toys would include LED Flashlights, and computer related stuff.

Do I sound like I can’t wait to spend my first salary?

I probably do. Too bad though, I need to save, or invest in clothes. More about the upcoming job later. :D

With the movie Transformers coming out after years of it being unheard-of by the youngsters, suddenly toy-car hobbyists are coming out again with their stuff.

When I was younger, we had G.I. Joes (We almost had it all, even vehicles and airplanes), Transformers (the real big ones, Optimus Prime, baby!), He-man, She-ra (mine), Smurfs, slot cars, matchbox cars, Lego, Scrabble (mine), Barbie and Ken (mine), Dungeons and Dragons box sets, those styrofoam airplane thingies, Magic cards, … hmm… A lot. I don’t even know where our toys are now.

I remember when we used to play with the G.I. Joes, Iks, my older brother, would dismantle the Joes and do mix-and-match, which was pretty cool! We’d swap heads and torsos and appendages and stuff.

Ahh… Gone were the days when we’d gather in the study and play together– me, my brothers and my cousins.

What toys and hobbies did you have when you were a kid? Do you still have them around somewhere? ^^

I really need to get curtains for my windows.

I was getting dressed a couple of days ago and my brother walked by and I ducked when I saw him pass. Not that he saw anything. Not that there’s anything to see. It was still embarrassing. What if someone else other than my brother passed? Like that time when we were getting the roof fixed. The workers kept passing by my window.

I used to have curtains. But it takes me like half a year before I bring them down to be washed. And another half year to put a new set up. That’s a little exaggerated of course. Maybe like 5 months.

The bottom line is I’m too lazy. I need something that’s easily cleanable. Maybe I should look into getting wood blinds. Whenever I go to school through Philcoa, I always see that wood blinds “factory” at the street corner. It’s made of bamboo, I think. They also paint stuff on it. I could also get a couple from Comic Alley, I guess. They have anime characters painted on it.

At least with wood blinds, they’re easy to clean. Just run the vacuum cleaner or a feather duster along them. Right?

Whenever I look at digital cameras, I feel a little sad because I want one. But then I have other priorities before the digital camera. Laptop first.

I can afford to wait because it’s not like I don’t have access to one. I can use my brother’s girlfriend’s digital camera if I want to.

Most of the things I take pictures of are my dogs or nature or people… well, anything really. But I like taking pictures of nature the most. Just the image of trees against the sky, or the perfection of flowers amaze me.

Most of all, I like taking pictures of events. Like when I’m with friends whom I rarely see, like my Amigas, taking pictures randomly is the best. It’s like capturing that moment forever.

I don’t really look for anything in a camera… as long as it takes clear pictures. well, maybe I do. The Macro function of the camera is what I really like. I like taking pictures of stuff like the pollen of flowers. That would require a really good one.

Other than that, everything is good.

Today Joshy Pants can finally rest in peace.

I got a parcel notice yesterday and I picked it up today. I got new toys! But of course, my favorite is the bone wrist rest. It’s sooooo snazzy. It feels custom made. My wrist won’t hurt anymore :D
