Where’d You Go?

Entity feat. misan - Where’d You Go

Matt’s been away too long. He doesn’t reply to my SMS and so far he’s only messaged me twice. I wonder if he’s just in some Michigan bed and breakfast place and not telling me. >_<

Anyway, I met this girl at Dine and Jam today. She’s a student at Sarah’s Mom’s Tagalog school and she’s studying… Tagalog. What else? When I asked her where she was from, she just said, “The States.” So I asked her which state she was from, and she said, “Michigan. No one knows where it is, that’s alright.”

A Life Lesson

:D I’m only going to put this up for a day. XD

Tops wrote in his comment that I was brave to put up my grades here. I replied back that it just shows that even if you were a total failure at first, you can still succeed.

For those who don’t know, 1.00 is the highest, 3.00 is the lowest passing, 4.00 is conditional, 5.00 is fail. Inc is incomplete.

My first course or major was BS ECE (Electronics and Communications Engineering) at UP Diliman, College of Engineering. Out of the number of subjects I failed (did you count?) only 3 were not related to Engineering. I failed in PE because in the first one, my teacher disappeared for a while and when he came back, I got lazy to complete the requirements. In the second PE (FYI it was Walking for Fitness), I failed because I tripped and I kind of lost all will to attend the class which was at 8am, right before my Math 114 (Linear Algebra blah blah) which I had to take a Removal Exam for, and I got lazy as well, so my grade stayed conditional but I assume it has been registered as 5.00 by now.

A series of failures finally ended up with me getting dismissed from the College. There’s this rule that we have to pass 24 units each year. I could have easily shifted to Geodetic Engineering, but I knew that I didn’t want to deal with numbers anymore.

Procrastination Blues~

So… Instead of doing my Lesson Plans and studying about the Middle Ages up to the Renaissance… *sigh* It’s really just not so enjoyable. This is what I don’t like with being a teacher. You’re not just at work from 8-5 or whatever your schedule is. You’re still doing work when you’re at home. ~_~

  • Procrastination is like masturbation. At first it feels good, but in the end you’re only screwing yourself. ~Author Unknown
  • “While I procrastinate in my life, I procrastinate on my death.”
  • “I love deadlines. Especially the whooshing sound they make as they pass by.” - Douglas Adams
  • The Procrastinator’s Creed:
  1. I believe that if anything is worth doing, it would have been done already.
  2. I shall never move quickly, except to avoid more work or find excuses.
  3. I will never rush into a job without a lifetime of consideration.
  4. I shall meet all of my deadlines directly in proportion to the amount of bodily injury I could expect to receive from missing them.
  5. I firmly believe that tomorrow holds the possibility for new technologies, astounding discoveries, and a reprieve from my obligations.
  6. I truly believe that all deadlines are unreasonable regardless of the amount of time given.
  7. I shall never forget that the probability of a miracle, though infinitesimally small, is not exactly zero.
  8. If at first I don’t succeed, there is always next year.
  9. I shall always decide not to decide, unless of course I decide to change my mind.
  10. I shall always begin, start, initiate, take the first step, and/or write the first word, when I get around to it.
  11. I obey the law of inverse excuses which demands that the greater the task to be done, the more insignificant the work that must be done prior to beginning the greater task.
  12. I know that the work cycle is not plan/start/finish, but is wait/plan/plan.
  13. I will never put off until tomorrow, what I can forget about forever.
  14. I will become a member of the ancient Order of Two-Headed Turtles (the Procrastinator’s Society) if they ever get it organized.

Lab Kwot

I got this from Dyan’s post.

“You know you’re in love when you can’t fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams.”

And I thought to myself… “Damn! I was asleep for almost 10 hours yesterday with Matt.”

LoL. No, I didn’t sleep with him. As usual, we were on voice chat, and we just fell asleep. And I slept loooooooooooong. I don’t think time was wasted because we were together. It felt more comfortable. Hmm…. It felt awesome.

Though… maybe at first.. before.. It was hard to sleep. :D
