Yesterday, a lot of stuff happened. The Trillanes thing, the curfew and stuff.

I watched Enchanted with Sarah. lol. Hmmm What else…

Anyway, sometime in the night, I was trying to record Mr.Children - Surrender because I don’t really like what I did on YouTube but I ended up singing a different song.

Mama shouted from the window and asked if I was drunk while singing it… lol. So.. Yeh.

For some reason, I can’t karaoke, I mean sing with the instrumental or karaoke track of something, but I can somehow manage if I’m the one playing the accompaniment. Enjoy =X

I wrote a song 3 years ago as one of the requirements for class. It was my Educ100 class, wherein I got my first 1.00 grade (Uno, highest). We were required to create something about Bonifacio, which could be anything–a song, a poem, a novel if we can.

I wrote a song. I revised it as well. You can compare the original with this revised one. Well… I just removed some lines. But anyway….

Bonifacio Day is in three days and I’m still a little under the weather, but I really wanted to put this out as soon as possible.

Forgive me if it sounds childish and rhyme-y. I’m no song-writer. But heck… Bonifacio should be the National Hero!

Ok. Here’s the song. I made some mistakes, but since no one has ever heard this song except a few people, it wouldn’t matter. XD (I hope)

I’ve been busy lately with singing the Kimi Kiss OP, Aozora loop by marble, as I’ve raved about in my last post.

Yes, I am a Karaoke singer, as what would be called in Japan a Doujin Singer. Not exactly a cover singer, since I sing more over karaoke or instrumental versions than play my own background music, although I do that too sometimes. I’ve written some songs too, even recorded a couple. But I don’t have that much of courage to post it anywhere or let anyone hear it, except for a very select few. There are so many artists out there who are better than me, like what I found at Unsigned.com.

Unsigned.com is a website that caters to unsigned artists or those signed on independent labels as independent artists. This also includes unsigned bands. The contents are categorized by genre and country, and you can browse the artists and the fans. If you are an unsigned artist, you can upload your music as long as it is less than 8Mb, or at a bitrate of 128kbps.

With this, other people can listen to your songs, or maybe even get signed if you get discovered and become popular enough. Will you know if you’re popular? Yes. You know who the most artists from the site, or those with the most plays. The fans could make their own playlists of the different indie artists they may fancy from the site.

The best feature of this site? It’s FREE.

I am totally addicted to a song. I heard this song before even watching the anime. It was requested by my irc buddy guuchan (if you check animelyrics.com there are a LOT of lyrics transliterated by guuchan). The first time I heard it, I was just so-so about it. Nothing special. Although, I DID remember that the beat was nice. But after I listened to it again because guu reminded me about his request, it just GREW on me. So now, I’m annoying everyone at home singing the song (because I’m recording it, I have to be LOUD because my mic sucks)

Why is there no 1? Because I was too busy back then that I even forgot its voting period. AFM stands for Anime Fan Music and it’s something that  bj0rn just started recently. He’s one of the people I work with (or rather, I should be working… with…) in the fansub group I belong to.

In the past years, the anniversaries I celebrated were events like Frog-Dissection day (January 12, 1999), Break-up days (forgot them already), Quezon City Science High School Foundation Day (September 17) and so on.

Finally, tonight, I’m going to celebrate my 1st anniversary with Matt. Like wow. According to this website, the best anniversary gifts are photos on canvas–something I can’t really have with this kind of relationship.

Meh. Oh well.

it’s from Ai Otsuka’s DVD Drama “Tokyo Friends” … i’ve been wanting to sing this song for ages but couldn’t figure out the chords. Now that I have chords, they look hard but I couldn’t get the strumming right… T_T SIGH.

Here is a song that has truly touched my heart. Well, I finally went and did it. I recorded it with myself on the guitar. I couldn’t do a more dramatic rendition of it, but I did put my whole heart into it, so much that I feel my fingers were going to bleed if I didn’t stop playing it.

According to the websites I saw while looking for the lyrics and translation, it was used as an insert song in a drama called Perfect Love. I’ll look for that drama and watch it as soon as I finish school.

I know you might say there isn’t much difference, but with Version 1, I was already getting hoarse and if it was full of emotion, like sounding almost going to cry, it was because my fingers hurt so much already. With Version 2, I tried hitting the high notes better, but I think it wasn’t as emotional sounding as the first one.
