I didn’t get heavier

Maybe because aside from the cake and the pasta and the ice cream, the rest i had were mangoes and watermelons and that tea that makes me poop. =_=

My Sleeping Schedule is Totally Messed Up.

The title says it all… but wait! There’s more!

I’ve been watching Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo or TokiKake for short and… T_T Well… it’s good. I should watch the original movie (Live Action) since it’s been sitting in my soon-to-be-full-again hard drive for like 2 days now.

But TokiKake isn’t the only thing I’m watching right now (Look at the outdated list to the lower right). I’m currently following the Japanese Hotelier. Only 3 eps subbed so far.

Aya Ueto is sexy, but really, keigo and extreme politeness doesn’t seem to suit her after seeing her as the lean, mean, sexy killing machine Azumi like 10000000 times. And after Attention Please where she played as a punk-turned-Flight Attendant, she must have mastered all those polite speech and manners and so on.

Attention Please has no romance at all, but Hotelier seems to be a love drama aside from the inner drama in hotel staff rooms and business mergers.

Another drama I’ve seen her in is My Little Chef where she acts as the little sister of the talented young chef who cooks delicious food based on the personality of the people she cooks for.

Anyway, I’m straying away from pretty Aya. I downloaded her movie Install… for the second time. I was watching the first 20 minutes of it I think but got bored and deleted it. So… Months later, it appears in this private tracker I belong to, so I go download it… again.

So back to the real topic of this blog. I need to sleep. o.o

Wait. As a final note….

Aya Ueto is now a woman. TT___TT

Mondays and Rainy Days

Last Monday, I saw mangoes for P30/kg. They were a little small… I bought 3 kg and then walked home. XD The usual 45 minute walk.. well.. maybe 35 minutes from where I bought it.

I was supposed to ride a trike once I got inside Sikatuna Village, but I wasn’t paying attention. When I came to, I was more than halfway home… So I didn’t bother. Just another 20 minutes anyway.

So there I was, lugging 3 kg of mangoes home. I was thinking of various thoughts in my head. I was planning something big that day. I was kind of nervous and excited…

Take Not The Road Less Traveled. Make New Roads.

Read here.

I’m posting this because it is inspiring. Coming from this 16-year-old wonder girl, Mikaela Irene Fudolig, who delivered the Valedictory speech for the graduates of UP Diliman Batch 2007.. I waited for her speech and the recording of her speech, because I had a feeling it would be good. And it was. At least for that line. Not the road less-traveled, but a new one.

However, I have comments:

  •  The message is good, but Teachers and Nurses aren’t quite the lowest paid professionals in countries like the States and Canada. Higher demand + less resources = higher pay. There are a lot of old people in the US now, and a lot of kids. Kids these days want cool professions like Engineering or Computer programming or something.
  • Koreans come here and get themselves naturalized not because the Philippines is so amazing, but because the Philippines is cheap. Filipinos being naturally hospitable, tend to be extra nice to foreigners. If the Koreans would be willing to pay what the Filipinos need, then everything is okay. Koreans can get their women cheaply. Koreans can study English cheaply. They can set up a business cheaply. They can get a house, live cheaply.

“Do they know something we don’t?” Mikki asked.

Frustrations

Last Saturday, I went to Dine & Jam, Sarah’s family’s monthly dinner thing. Sometimes I’m a guest, but most of the time, I end up as a part of the crew, like that day. It’s not that I’m stingy. I’m not so tight-fisted either. I just don’t like spending too much. When Sarah’s mom asked if I could help out, I grabbed the chance. After all, that meant not paying, being able to eat more, and taking home food. I just LOVE the food they serve.

So, if I was able to eat all the food I wanted, why am I frustrated?

“Instead of taking the road less traveled, the new graduates should make new roads.”
–Mikaela Irene Fudolig

Wonderful quote from a young outstanding girl.

Yey New Home!

I just need them to fix some more stuff and then it would be final. I can’t modify some of my own pages for some reason, so I couldn’t put their link there.
