MMMiii!

Lately, I’ve been hanging out in eBay. I’m getting frustrated not being able to get my money from PayPal because Xoom is being utterly stupid. Not that I’ve got a lot in my PayPal, but still… it would be nice to be actually touching them or seeing them take interest in my bank account, right?

So… I signed up for eBay! And I bought three things.

Silicone Skin Case for my Zen V Plus with lanyard and armband.

You’re probably thinking I’m crazy. The item is $1.00 but shipping is $9.49, a total of $10.49. If you convert that to peso, that’s still less than how much the silicone skin case will cost here. Including the arm band. So I’m still fine with that. It’ll just take about a month to get here plus red tape, so that’s two months… maybe.

Brand New Sennheiser CX300 Ear Canal Headphone Silver Black.

Actually, I wanted the black one, but stupid me didn’t notice that I bid on the Silver one. I emailed the person and asked him if he could send me the black one instead. I don’t know if it’s real or not, but it’s cheaper than the Phillips in-ear earphones that I’ve been eyeing for some time now. a LOT cheaper, and a LOT cheaper than it’s price in malls. I can’t spend my real money, so why not spend money that I can’t obtain? right?

And my last purchase…

Nodame Cantabile: Megumi’s Piano Pattern Tote Bag + Coin Purse

I don’t remember seeing Nodame with this coin purse, but what the heck. I’ve been wanting to buy a new bag and I don’t see anything that I like that is within my budget (my budget for a new bag is P150). Nothing I see, even in Ukay-Ukays, meet that budget and design that I want. So… I thought of getting the Nodame bag. And it’s … not very cheap, but good enough. It’s about 5 times my budget, but considering I didn’t really spend anything from my salary for these… s’all good.

Well… those are my first eBay purchases. I hope I don’t get addicted and spend too much. The things I usually see have to come from overseas, and knowing how this country’s postage system works, these things will probably arrive past my birthday. *crossing fingers*

So… how many months have I been working? At work, I have to wear business casual most of the time (except for weekends), and sure I’ve got some slacks. I’ve got one really nice one, one so so, and another one… well… another one which will have to do most of the time.

I wear the three of them in constant rotation. Sometimes just one of them for the whole week when I need to (My shift is Saturday to Wednesday, so I only wear slacks thrice a week… for this month, that is. and last month).

And well… I guess it doesn’t really matter much since it’s just black, but sometimes I wish I had more than one good slacks. I brought this up with my mother and sure enough, she offered me some classy maternity jeans. I know I’m really big and all… *sigh*

BUT ANYWAY… I’m not really into clothes or fashion or what not. I hardly care about how I look. Heck, sometimes a whole week or two passes before I even comb my nice, long, straight black hair which doesn’t tangle much (I mean, comb with a comb. My fingers do the job most of the time, but that’s not really combing, is it?)

I think I’ll go out and get a new pair of slacks tomorrow. *sigh* I hope I Could find a cheap one. Really. It really depresses me sometimes when I go and buy clothes, and they just don’t fit. I know I should diet or something… so that buying clothes won’t depress me anymore. But…

There are good things in life that are just hard to give up. Like noodles.

I keep forgetting to go to the custom wear sports shop. I’m supposed to be taking care of the ACHGM-DIE Jacket but I keep forgetting. Sometimes I wish we could just get a website that does imprinted promotional products and have our logo and stuff printed and we’d just have it shipped all over the world, but that seems kind of expensive. If I have it made here, all we need to pay for is the jacket, the tailor, and shipping and handling.

But I’m so lazyyyy I need to go to the post office as well to get an estimate on how much the jackets s/h would cost. orz ….

I also want to have that jacket ASAP!

What to wear what to wear >_>

The amigas are going to be complete tonight as well. I think I’m going to wear some fashion jewelry like those earrings Sara gave me last time. They’re pretty nice. I think I need to iron some clothes as well… Aaaahh what to wear???

But I’m going to be crewing tonight I think… So I can’t wear my 3-inch heels, or else I’d be dead before the night is over. I’m pretty excited!

AAAHHH That reminds me, I need to burn Nodame drama I think. x_x

During my first week as a student teacher, I kept wearing formal clothes–pretty blouse, slacks, 3 inch high closed leather shoes.

This week, I didn’t wear anything that needed ironing (except that one shirt that was really badly rumpled that Mama ordered me to iron it or she’ll iron it with me wearing it).

Because I suddenly have more “decent” clothes that need to be hangered, I’m using my closet more often now than for the past 4 years. My closet has some sort of under cabinet lighting but for some reason, it doesn’t work. Faulty wiring somewhere, because the .. lightbulb holder thingie has been replaced more than once. It works for a while, then doesn’t work anymore. I’ve kind of given up on it already.

But now, it has become a little harder because I need the clothes there and I couldn’t see them properly, so I have to pull out each one of them a little into the light, and put them back, getting them rumpled even after I spent a loooong time ironing.

I NEED TO GET IT FIXED!

Tomorrow night is Dine & Jam night once again. Once again, I don’t have anything special to wear. Not that I need to dress or go to a prom and would need the advice written about ugly prom dresses… But I would like to wear something really presentable. Like what I would wear to my Student Teaching classes starting June.

I’ve started buying clothes little by little… slowly. Too slow, in fact. I’ve only bought a week and a half’s worth of really presentable clothes. Six blouses to be exact. And two slacks. I was hoping I would get the job I applied for a couple of weeks ago sooner so I could actually buy clothes.

Maybe I’ll wear that button-up shirt I bought before… I’ll have to iron again. OMG. I’ve ironed clothes twice for this month already… after not doing that since high school.

Ahh~~ How nostalgic. I’d be up at 4 or 5 in the morning because I still had to iron my uniform, plus do homework and stuff. XD

Anyway…. Dine & Jam tomorrow. I’m gonna get fat again. :[
