My Tagaytay Vacation

I mentioned a couple of days ago that I was going to go out of town to visit the Taal Crater but weather had decided to not cooperate with us at the last minute. And because one member in our group had decided to force what he wants to do with regards to how we were going to get there and also buying something at the last minute although we had already asked him to tell us what else he needs since we went to the groceries earlier that day, we ended up arriving there almost 5pm already, when some of the tourist attractions have already closed. So we just stayed home that night and grilled the food that we bought.

Come evening, Cavite was announced as Storm Signal #3 for Typhoon Santi. From inside, I could hear howling and whistling as the rain crashed against the windows and the roof. I even started to wonder on what kind of guaranteed issue life insurance my parents could claim in case the house I was living in just suddenly collapsed of if there was a landslide at the place we were staying at. It was scary.

Come morning, the winds and rains were gone, and the sun was out. But we couldn’t really go anywhere because the tourist places like People’s Park were closed. A lot of trees fell and most employees didn’t come to work. We ended up just going back to Manila then we went malling.
