Globe Follow-up
So yeah, I was contacting Globe for almost a week. They promised me October 7 as a due date. I received my load, finally, on October 8, at almost 3pm. That’s about 5 days and 16 hours of delay.
I sent an email to custhelp@globetel.com.ph and stated all my complaints and demands. About 2 hours later, that’s when I received my load. I also got calls and text messages from a Globe person.
Eventually, I received a P250 compensation. I did demand P50/day that I didn’t receive it, and for their crappy system that dropped off the calls and/or their agents that disconnected the calls.
I’m okay with it now. Even if I didn’t like Globe’s Customer Service, I like it’s promos and the fact that it’s kind of tied up with BPI. And now that I can use mobile banking again, my life is back to normal. Or almost. I received a message that “Globe is undergoing system maintenance. BPI Mobile transactions are currently disabled. Pls try again later.” And that was last October 4… and I’m still receiving it now. But since that’s Globe … >___>
Globe reminds me of those unassuming moth traps, attracting these pesky insects with its bright light, giving a promise of this and that, but in the end just burning them and taking away their life.
That thing with Globe really exhausted me. I hope that this is the end of it.
