In Bruges (2008)
I just watched this movie because someone forced me to watch it. And I was sleepy but I couldn’t sleep, so I thought that if this movie would bore me, then good, I’d be able to fall asleep.
I must say that I am quite pleased with the movie. Like Yu said, “It was a rollercoaster of emotions.”
When one guy was running to get gunned down, I was screaming in my seat (I was in bed, but wth) “Run! Run! Run!” I needed to yawn but I manage to keep my eyes open because I didn’t want to miss a scene. Of course, I was watching it with subtitles because the accent is a little weird.

The plot itself. Two hitmen take a vacation in a God-knows-where place to one of them, and a wonderland for the other. They’re taking a vacation because the one who didn’t like the place accidentally killed a boy and he was getting eaten up by his conscience. The story progresses as the two men experience a change of views on life and death. It also shows reality in a sense–aside from life and death, there’s racism of skin color or citizenship, discrimination for personal looks, prostitution. The ending was also wonderfully …
