It’s Sure to Insure

That’s the byline of catch phrase of this car insurance billboard that I see every time I go home. I guess, knowing myself, I’d really need one. I might be crashing into walls every so often, or I might get into accidents.

.
.
.

But I don’t have a car. I can’t even drive. *sigh*

I was looking at an application form for a BPI Credit Card, and I could get Travel Insurance and Life Insurance as well. I think that would be really nice. However, I don’t really travel and I’m not really into dangerous adventures. Although of course, usually insurances are for accidents and you can never really expect accidents. Maybe I’ll take it for the life insurance.

~__~ Just that there’s so many requirements to get a credit card, it’s so lazifying. -_-;

By the way, I was checking out credit cards because my desktop broke and I don’t have enough moolahz to buy up new parts for it. I’m basically going to get a new CPU–tower, board, and all that. I’ll only be keeping my monitor, keyboard and mouse, and my hard drives. I’m going to have my video card checked by my boss to see if I can still use that one.

So…

I’ll make a comparison chart of BPI credit card and BDO credit card and ask Lori which one would be best, although I can almost hear her advising against it. XD

and in the mean time…

Anyone out there willing to donate? XD

Just click

button at the right.

The one above works as well.

hide Memorial Summit

I just finished watching the video of hide Memorial Summit which I just downloaded this morning. It’s a commemoration concert for hide’s 10th year death anniversary. I can’t deny that there were some parts that got me teary-eyed. Especially when Toshi sang “Without You” which I heard for the first time (I haven’t been able to watch the X Japan “rebirth” concerts). I’ve been wanting to hear it sung ever since I heard the piece in Eternal Melody II which has the 17-minute track including the lyrics but no one singing it. I had imagined Yoshiki would hire a woman to sing it but after X Japan’s “rebirth” he had Toshi sing it.

I don’t really want to call it a reunion since hide will never be back (T__T) but rather a rebirth.

“Without You” is such a nice song, the piano version and the song version. It used to be my sleep song. It would be the last song I’d play before I head to sleep.

And I noticed that Toshi is really not in condition anymore. He’s old. Not that I don’t like his voice anymore. I love his voice. Except that there were many parts in the concert that his voice broke or he went out of tune, but I don’t know if it was the 2nd day of the concert or not. Since he’s Toshi, I forgive him.

This is a screenshot from The Last Live concert of X Japan.

I love hide as well. I wish they had an encore, probably they did, it just wasn’t shown on TV. I was half wishing they’d perform hide’s Goodbye.

The finale of the hide Memorial Summit was a ton of bands on the stage performing X Japan’s “X” (We Are!).

But since I badly wanted to hear Goodbye

here are some videos.

Pathetic

pathetic

I realized how lame my previous post was. I was desperately trying to type it with my eyes trying to close and I was fighting against it, keeping it open, alternating each eye so one could rest.

And then when I woke up, I was practically chatting with Yu the whole time until I fell asleep again, so I wasn’t able to write.

I was going to write about that one funny call. The customer was really nice and he was setting up a business about signs–fully customized signs. Signs for what, you say? I didn’t really quite understand. It must be an American thing. I just smiled, nodded, agreed and laughed with the customer. He said you could have it set on your birthstone, it glows in the dark and if ever you have one, you’ll probably be the only one in your whole block to have one.

Mellow Mondays will become Tech Support Stories

I would normally say this would be for no real reason, but there is, actually. I keep forgetting when is Monday. I’m sometimes on Eastern and sometimes on Philippine. So… I’ll just name it Tech Support Stories and write whenever I feel like it, and that would be during my days off. My schedule changes monthly, so… yeh.

I’m really too sleepy at the moment, but just to remind myself, I’m going to write a person and his signs. Okay? Okay.

Food Trip

I went to SM North today after getting my graduation pictures from UP Diliman. I wanted to buy new rubber shoes because it’s been raining lately and the rubber shoes that I use most of the time is not usable when it’s raining. I also wanted to buy a new phone strap.

But I wasn’t able to buy rubber shoes. Nor a phone strap.

I was feeling hungry already when I reached the campus but I figured that I’d have more choices at SM and I felt like pigging out. I went to the Food Court and looked around on what to eat. I saw this new Japanese food stall (of course it’s not authentic), Keisha’s Teppan Cuisine, and the food really looked appetizing. (No, not really. The display was plastic or something.) But what caught my eye was the temaki only for P60 for three pieces. And they were kind of big.

I wanted to eat something else other than the temaki, but I asked the cashier lady if the temaki was actually that big and she said it was. … And it was.

Keisha's Teppan Cuisine California Temaki

So I had to keep myself from ordering the bento set or the other rice meal sets. The Omurice (Omelette Rice / Rice wrapped in Omelette) looked big in the display as well, but I asked the lady again if it was that big, and she said it wouldn’t be that big because the egg will shrink. OTL … Maa… Since having watched Lunch Queen, I’ve been wanting to eat Omurice even if I knew there wouldn’t be any demiglace sauce or chicken inside the rice. I only noticed after I started waiting for my order that I can have all three kinds of their temaki for the same price, but one each. Durn. Oh well. I’ll be back anyway. I’m sure of it.

I wouldn’t say I was genuinely pleased with the Omurice,

Taba Chewed on my Charger Again!

taba-chewed-on-my-charger-again

~_____~

GRRRR!!!

I hit Taba this morning when I woke up. I woke up to find my charger cable chewed up again! A perfectly good, original Nokia charger for my N80.

Broken

I was so annoyed that I spanked him. Now I’ll need to buy a new charger -_-; and I don’t really want to buy some cheap charger like last time. Ugghhh…. ~___~

I wonder if keeping a cat would have been better. I think cat supplies are cheaper but then I don’t really feed Taba dog food anymore coz he refuses to eat it and it’s just a waste of money so I just give him human food and milk.

Where did I go wrong? What did I miss? I walked him this morning. I even carried him even with his muddy paws because there were some stray dogs and I didn’t want him to be bitten by those stray dogs. Dogs are supposed to run if there are other dogs after them, not ask their master to carry them T_T.

And then when we got hime I fed him his favorite Adobo rice. And I even gave him some of my milk, my darned expensive milk. He chewed a roll of tissue paper and my charger cable. At least he didn’t chew the ethernet and phone and other electric cables… why the charger!!! And this is the second time he chewed a charger cable =_=

*sigh*

=======================================
[Edit]

I fixed it! >_> Because… well… I don’t really want to buy a new one. I just tried…
I cleanly cut the ends of the wires and spliced them and wrapped masking tape on them.

:D Voila! It’s charging again.

Fixed

I hugged Taba and gave him some milk again.
