It’s So Freakin’ Hot!
This isn’t the first time that that expression has been heard from me. I say it a lot, especially during the summer. I live in the tropics, so the temperature basically pretty warm throughout the year compared to where most of my online friends live.
Working as a tech support in an office where it’s always cold except on really rare occasions like a system maintenance on the air conditioners or something. But anyway, this morning, when I got home, I turned on the AC and went for breakfast. An hour later, my room wasn’t cold yet. Usually, ever since I’ve been using the AC again, if I leave it on for at least an hour, my room isn’t hot anymore (not that it gets cold). But this morning, it was blowing hot air.
So… I gave up. Pop had looked up nearby AC service places and I called one up. I asked how much it would cost to have them replace the freon or something. They said they’ll need to clean it first with free check-up, then if it’s still not working right after they clean it, they’ll quote me a price for servicing it. Good enough. Cleaning is just P750. The other place, they only did cleaning AND service for P3100. This one will clean first and see if it needs more service. To replace the freon though, it will cost P3000. I still think I’ve got a better deal.
Right now, I’m just waiting for them. I’m here in the laundry area with my MiBook and my small industrial fan. They called almost 50 minutes ago saying they’d be here in 10-15 minutes, but until now they’re still not here. Our doorbell is broken so I need to stay here where I’ll hear them knock on the gate. I got bored, so I got the fan and MiBook.
I’m not in the mood to watch anything because I don’t like getting interrupted. If they do come and I’m in the middle of watching something, I’ll have to stop that to entertain them. Sooo… What else is there to do? Blog.
Times like these, you don’t need to have an online futures broker to find something to do or spend your online money on. I think I’ll go browse eBay for now.
