Watches and Planes and Wallets
A couple of weeks ago, the advertisement for a certain credit card company had a promo something like if you sign up, you get the chance to get a Mango watch OR a round trip ticket to somewhere, which brought to my mind that … HOLY F***ING ****! luxury watches are as expensive as plane rides! While I find it ridiculous, i guess there really are some stuff that HAVE to be bloody expensive so that no one will buy it.
I thought about this again because this same credit card company has a new promo and it’s like the same thing except you get either a wallet and something i forgot. But STILL!!! In essence, these things are clumped together. If given alternatives like this, usually the alternatives would be in the same price range, right? So… these are REALLY expensive stuff.
I don’t get the point. Why do you have to have a super expensive watch or wallet or something. If I had something like that and I lost it, I’d probably slit my wrists and …. stab myself to death. I don’t know.

I know a friend of mine who wears really expensive fashion clothes. Such examples are Bathing Ape and Prada, depending on what’s fashionale (?!). He spends a lot of money on them, with T-shirts that can be at least 10x more expensive than ordinary ones. Although I do not understand it at all, he seems to know what he’s spending on, so I did not make much comments on his interests.
Getting cheaper things for the same function makes more sense to most of us. Although I did consider buying one or two anime figures, they get sold out really quickly, and some are really expensive. I’d be so lost of words if I were to have one and have it damaged or lost.
