Work and Stuff
I’ve started working at a call center last Monday and it’s very interesting. I learn new things, I unlearn old things and learn it properly, I meet and socialize with people of different backgrounds and ages, and practically living a different life.
There are still some things about me that I really need to change.
Last Wednesday I forgot my ID and I realized that when I was at the Annapolis-Santolan MRT station already. I turned around and kept running from then. Going up and down the stairs because the elevator was taking forever, or because I went to the wrong side of the station… What a hectic day.
I arrived late. Good thing the trainer was feeling kind since it’s her first day so she let my booboo slip. I volunteered to be the TKS syncher because I wanted to make up for it. It turns out to be a “job” that takes a lot of responsibility. *sigh* If I’m late then everyone will be late.
Yesterday, she seemed a little nicer. We discussed grammar and culture and played games.
*sigh*
You know what’s tiring? The travel. I need to leave the house early so I won’t be late. And at night, I’m never able to immediately get a bus. Not like I can rent a hotel room or a condo out there. They cost an arm, a leg arms and legs and your shoes probably like a Vegas hotel. I don’t know.
I’m just… blah.
Yesterday, the trainer told us that HR Recruitment wanted us to go back where we were hired because they needed to change something in our contract. And I thought… “AGAIN?” Well, blah to them. I just hope it’s not something about the bonus.
