MMMiii!

My job isn’t really dangerous. Probably for the heart, since I hear a lot of stories like callers being so mad or something. But that’s not the danger there, I think.

I’m going to be working in another city, about an hour to an hour and a half of travel from my place. Going to work would be somewhat direct, while going home… I’ll have to walk about 15 minutes if I want to save on transportation fare. The problem is that route home is a little dangerous. Even in broad daylight. It just gives me the creeps. Call me a snob or something, but … I’ll be going past a bus terminal and around it are too many suspicious-looking people. They look dirty and everything.

Don’t get me wrong. I pass my these kinds of people all the time, but this is somewhat far from the public eye, almost like in a middle of nowhere but not quite. I’m just thinking that maybe I should start bringing my knife. It’s a switch blade kind of safety utility knife that I could easily put in my pocket. Especially now that I just found out my schedule on Monday. My job starts at 2pm and ends at 10pm. Assuming I get to ride on the last train… And pass by there… Scary.

Of course, there’s always an alternative, another route, and a little more money involved. I guess I shouldn’t be listening to my mp3 player when I walk home at night from now on. >_< I should always be alert. You never know when someone’s already following you if your ears are plugged.
