Sprain Day Part 1 - Damn Taxi Drivers

3 October, 2007 (23:24) | Health, Mi, Philippines, School | By: Mi

We had make-up classes today because we started the quarter late, but the exams didn’t get moved, plus those days of no classes, and another day will be missed Friday next week, the Friday before exams. My class started at 8 am.

I left the house at 7 am and stood in front of the gate for about 10 minutes. Five (5) empty taxi cabs later with drivers who refused to take me, I limped towards the intersection, crossed the street and tried flagging more empty taxi cabs. I don’t remember how many empty taxi drivers refused me anymore, but I was in pain and I wanted to cry. I had tears falling but it wasn’t full-blown crying yet.

FINALLY, after 30 minutes of waiting, a taxi cab finally stopped in front of me and I said KATIPUNAN and sobbed. I complained to the taxi driver that the other drivers refused to take me and that I was in pain and that I needed to go to school and I cried and cried until I felt better.

I made it barely on time — 7:55am. I scribbled some questions my ST told me I needed to take up, and then limped with her to the classroom.

As usual, my class was a pain in the ass– and foot.

A-ah~ The quarter is almost over.

Anyway, TAXI DRIVERS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO CHOOSE CUSTOMERS RIGHT??? Isn’t there a law or something like that? DAMN THEM.
