The Sign
My headset broke last night. No, not the cheap one. The PhP450 one. That’s like US$9. Pretty darned expensive for me when I bought it because I don’t have a job. How? You’re asking how? I accidentally dipped the volume control in my coffee. Don’t ask how I did that. It just happened. I couldn’t even believe it myself.
Lately, one of the reasons why I don’t do my work is because I want to sing and record first. I take out my frustrations with school through the microphone. Aside from blogging, that’s probably what I waste most of my time with.
Now with only about 2 weeks left of my practicum, my headset breaks–meaning, I can’t record. I can sing alright. I can even record. But that would mean using the speakers.
I planned to pass by CD-R King on my way home today but I totally forgot about it. So… no headset.
I would like to see this as a sign… to get my butt to work faster, to focus. This means no voice chatting either. Heh… It kind of sucks, but kind of not. I really do need to focus on my studies… err… teachings… better.
I need to catch up on a lot of stuff. I think I haven’t written in my student journal in like a month. I need to finish that tonight/tomorrow morning. I need to do a lesson plan for The Merchant of Venice Act III. I need to finish my lesson plan for Vanity Fair–which my ST said was on the right track, making me feel a little proud of myself.
I only have two weeks left. I can’t really describe how scared I am. I want to finish already. I want to graduate and get it over with. I’m afraid to fail.
I’ve kind of given up my dream of getting a laptop before I graduate if I DO want to even graduate. If I spend all my time blogging, then I’ll never get anything done. Paid blogging takes time too, you know. I check out the ad, browse through the site, and so on, and think of what to write. It takes a lot of time.
But then, writing Lesson Plans takes MORE time. *sigh*
I do still want a laptop before I graduate.
I do still want to sing.
I do want to graduate.

I’d hate for my nice headphones to die, what with the fact that they put me back $200. And yes, they do sound wonderful.
