Ingredients:
12 oz semi-sweet Chocolate
1/2 c butter
5 oz mini-marshmallows
3 oz rice krispies

Materials:
Wax Paper
Spatula
Bowl
Knife

Procedure:
image197.jpg1. Put chocolate and butter in a bowl and nuke it for 1-1.5 minutes, stopping every 15 seconds to mix it and to make sure it doesn’t boil. image198.jpg

2. Keep stirring it for at least 5 minutes so the butter mixes in very well. It should be very thick.

3. Add in the marshmallows (I forgot to take a picture of the chocolate-less marshmallows… Just image200.jpguse your imagination. They’re about 7mmx7mm, cylindrical, and comes in pink, yellow, orange and white) and mix very well so that all the marshmallows are evenly coated with extra chocolate here and there.image202.jpg

4. Get some wax paper (I used the Wax Paper padding for paper plates) and pour Rice Krispies on it almost covering it.

image205.jpg5. Put a dollop of the choco-mallow mixture (about 2 spoonfuls) and spread it a little. Make sure the Rice Krispies cover the mixture completely so it doesn’t stick much on the wax paper.

6. ROLL! Roll it like a sushi roll in a sushi mat. The roll should be about 1.5 - 2 inches in diameter. Add more Rice Krispies if necessary. Don’t squeeze it too much, but make sure it’simage204.jpg log-shaped.

7. Wrap the wax paper around it and make sure it doesn’t come loose. Twist the ends like a candy wrapper on a candy. Put it on a plate or in a ziplock bag then run to the fridge and put it in the freezer.image210.jpg

8. Wait for about 2-3 hours (You can take a nap) then take it out from the freezer. Cut in 1/2 inch thick slices and eat the ends.

image209.jpg9. Serve the rest in a pretty way or presentable manner and enjoy.

10. Don’t forget to lick the chocolate off the spatula and spoon.image207.jpg

——————-

I made these cookies to bring to Sarah’s (and her brother’s) party… But if I get there and they’re all ruined and melted, I’m not going to bring it out anymore.I admit I didn’t make them real pretty, but they do taste good. I’m always leeching food from them whenever I go there so I figured I should bring some too, sometimes.

Oh well.. Good luck to me! Teeeheeeeheee

* P.S. I called it Ghetto Church Window Cookies because I didn’t follow the recipe. It should have dried coconut flakes and nuts, none of which I have, so instead of rolling it in dried coconut flakes (which I don’t really like anyway), I used the Rice Krispies.

It’s no-bake cookies and real easy to make. Try it too, and tell me what you think!

** And forgive the crappy pictures. I just used my camera phone.
