Shelfari

There’s a new social network site in town, but this time it’s about books! Shelfari let’s you showcase your personal library to the whole cyberworld, your favorites and your wishlists as well. You can post reviews and recommend books to read, form groups with group reading lists, and so on.

What’s interesting about it for me, is I realized that I DO have a lot of books, and have read quite a number of it as well. For a person who declared herself as someone who hates reading, I feel that it’s a lot.

Check it out! Add me as well. My username is miii.

Do we like the same books?

I just joined Shelfari to connect with other book lovers. Come see the books I love and see if we have any in common. Then pick my next book so I can keep on reading.

epazz

If ever I am going to have my own company, or at least group or community website, I want something like this epazz intranet software. It’s just amazing! Although many of its applications can be used here and there on the web, it is integrated to just one portal. It’s just like a content-management system, but can be used by everyone. It’s perfect for business.

Why?
It is collaborative, linking everyone in that community together. The higher ups, the staff or employees, the managers–everyone who needs to be involved.

How?
One of the main features I wowed at was group calendar wherein you could schedule meetings, interviews, and even parties with those who need to be there. Just schedule the meeting or something, send the invitation or notice to those involved, and presto, it’ll be on their calendars already. If someone from the company would like to schedule a meeting with you, they can just send you an invitation and it’s up to you to accept it or not. You can easily see if there are conflicts as well, so you could, also easily, move the schedule to another time.

In line with the group calendar where you can easily schedule stuff, there’s the daily and weekly organizer.

You can read your emails in it as well without having to open another separate website or program.

Newsletters are delivered to the same place as well, and you could comment on it easily.

It has more features, but over-all, it is designed to improve workflow and time management within the company or business as a whole.

I want to try it as well, but no one to try it with.

If you have a company, you could try it for 30 days, just contact them to help you set it up.

Games I Like To Play When Procrastinating 2

The first one was Flood It! This is the second one.

Dealer - You play as a drug dealer. You go to places for cheap drugs, sell them for higher, or wait for the prices to drop severely or buy them for normal price and wait for the prices to skyrocket. You have an initial debt of 2000 which you have to pay in 3 weeks or 21 days. You have to make the most out of 80 days.

The point of the game? Make the most money. The consequences of making a lot of money? Nothing! It’s just for fun. It keeps me occupied for a LONG time.
