Powder
Powder is Kulit’s new name in his new home.
Last week, I gave Lori one of the Independence Day puppies. I was planning to let Lori choose whether they want Kulit or Taba… but when they came and ready to take away a puppy, I just said they were gonna take Kulit.
I made Kulit presentable. Gave him a bath, sprinkled him with Palmolive Aromatherapy Anti-Stress Lavender scented powder so he was smelling really good. This was one of the factors that made them name Kulit Powder. Because he was fluffy white too, I guess. Aside from the fact that all their dogs’ names started with P.
I wonder how Powder is doing now. It’s been raining all week…
Taba (meaning Fat or Fatso), on the other hand, is getting fatter. He’s starting to have a hard time getting out of his favorite spot which is under the dresser. So sometimes he only sticks his head underneath. He doesn’t like dog food anymore. That brat! After I spent PhP100 in puppy food he refuses to eat them. >_< I feed him rice with sauce now. And there has to be meat chunks in it or else he won’t even touch it. I tried feeding him his favorite oatmeal, and he didn’t even touch it. I put some pork in it, and he ate it. When I feed him rice and pork, he picks out the pork and leaves out the rice. Last night, I fed him corned beef and rice so he couldn’t pick out the meat.
He eats noodles. I have to feed him first because I love noodles myself and I’ll finish it, so I need to feed him some first. =/ I’m also weaning him from milk, but I let him have some sometimes.
Taba follows me around most of the time now. Whenever I go out the room, he’s also ready to go with me, even if it’s just to the toilet (no he doesn’t go in with me). At night, he puts his paws up on my bed for me to pull him up then he walks around, over me, even on my face, then he gets board and jumps off. He can jump off my bed with confidence but he’s afraid to jump off the short steps which are like half the height of my bed.
He started barking the other day, while playing. Unlike Powder, Taba doesn’t bark much. Didn’t bark at all until last time. He cries, whines, but never barks. Now he does, even in the middle of the night, even when the lights are off, he plays with his toy bottles I twisted a little and barks at them. He has 4 toy bottles. He likes playing some kind of football with it. Earlier today, I threw the bottle and he ran after it and picked it up and brought it back to me to throw again. That went on for like 10 rounds, then he got tired and went back to his “house.”
I’m trying to housebreak him… but one out of ten, he pees/poops on the right spot. Either he doesn’t like the scent of the housebreaking drops I use, or … I don’t know.
He likes chewing on stuff a lot. He chewed on one of the sandals I wear to work. He chewed on orc’s and Mark’s ethernet cable’s, the other wires, the corner of my bed, and so on. He also likes chewing on my finger.
Taba’s growing too fast. >_<
