Student-teaching day 18
HRR day 2. I know I shouldn’t be doing it, but I had to repeat some of the questions because a lot of them asked. I think the test I made was too hard, and at the same time, they didn’t read well until the end of Book 3. The answers were in all caps, some of them. It’s kind of hard to miss them. I thought it would be a dead giveaway. I was wrong though. They wouldn’t know if they never read it.
Their presentations were fun–some of them. Especially Paeng reading out Lady Guinevere’s letter. I would’ve expected Gidell since she was the only female in the group.
I checked their papers before going home because the look on their faces didn’t seem too good. And I was right. A lot either failed or got a low score. I’m used to the 60% passing mark… and a lot of them didn’t even make 50%. Should I make the next exam easier?
Another reason I hurried to check their exam was I made a bet with one student that I would get him a candy bar (Mars) if he passed. But he didn’t. He got a measly 9/20.
