But really, I don’t know anything about Tennessee. All I know about it is… Really nothing. I know Tennessee Williams wrote The Glass Menagerie.

Did you ever notice that you can’t buy baseball tickets here in the Philippines? I mean the local ticket centers… Baseball isn’t a very common game here…

I see some kids playing baseball in the field though, at UP. And I do know that there are some baseball players and baseball organizations around. It’s just that it’s not popular enough, I guess.

It’s July. It’s the middle of the year and it’s a little cold this morning. After a series of very hot days, the rains are slowly creeping in day by day.

And one of my students started singing “The First Noel” for no reason at all. It reminded me of my Christmas tree in my room that’s just there in the corner all throughout the year.

When I was in grade school, we had plants in our rooms… but they were silk trees. I used to pick some leaves and take them home and draw on them. They looked real enough, from my childhood memory… but now that I think of it, maybe it didn’t.

I want to have a plant in my room. I used to have a cactus… but I drowned it. Maybe I’ll look around for a new cheap one.
